Printed on a single 28" x 24" sheet. Folded, and with a couple light spots of tape on the reverse, else near fine condition. Holm, or possibly Mrs. Holm, has written above and below the image: "Merry Christmas, Marty, Bill, Carla + Karen Holm. Print of the cabin door of our sloop Giva'wis." Holm is one of the most knowledgeable experts in the field of Northwest Coast Native art history. He is the author of eight books in the field. This print appears to be a silkscreen (serigraph). It depicts carvings in the manner of Pacific Northwest coast native art, probably Kwakiutl. It is unclear of Holm actually executed the carving, but it seems likely.

Limited edition, one of only 500 numbered copies, each signed by King and by the illustrator, Berni Wrightson. Wrightson is among the most highly regarded comic book artists of his time.

8" x 5.25". 317pp. Beige cloth stamped in blue and black, in dust wrapper. Light soiling along the top edge, one leaf chipped along the fore edge, else nice VG+ condition. The very uncommon jacket has some edge wear, a one inch tear, and other general use. This copy signed and inscribed on the first leaf: "With all good wishes of the author / Walter Gibson." Gibson was an American author and professional magician, best known for his work on the pulp fiction character The Shadow. Under the pen-name Maxwell Grant he wrote more than 300 novel-length Shadow stories. He also wrote more than a hundred books on magic, psychic phenomena, true crime, mysteries, rope knots, yoga, hypnotism, and games, and served as a ghost writer for books on magic and spiritualism by Harry Houdini and other noted magicians.
