We have just completed a short (15 item) catalog of uncommon and unusual books related to cycling and bicycle touring and travel.

In a couple days we will also issue a slightly longer digital catalog of mountaineering related books. The collection is from a prominent Seattle area climber and includes many titles signed and inscribed by important mountaineers and climbers.

It is only the second copy we have handled in 20 years of dealing in Seattle and Washington state related material.

12.5" x 9.5". 56pp. Red spiral binding, with color illustrated boards. Light rubbing, a couple of leaves with a small bit of wear, but generally nice VG+ condition. The rather lurid eye design and lettering on the front board are by legendary graphic artist and dust jacket / book designer Arthur Hawkins, jr. The design is reproduced on the title page. With an introduction by William H. Savin. This marvelous book includes listings of the award jury panel, the exhibit, essays on the art of the poster, poster layout, and dozens of color and black & white illustrations of award winning advertising posters.

This beautifully color printed promotional brochure includes color illustrations on nearly every page, descriptive text about these streamlined "aristocrats of sports cars", details about the various special features available, specifications and statistics, etc.

8" x 5.5". 360pp. Green decorated cloth, with gilt lettering. Spine lightly faded, small spot on the bottom of the front board, small but irritating scrape along the fore edge. Despite these issues still a VG+ condition copy. Second printing, issued one month after the first. This copy signed in full by the author along with his trademark pawprint glyph, and additionally signed by his wife and sometime collaborator Julia Seton. Scarce thus. With numerous full page and margin illustrations by the author.
